Sansom Equipment Ltd. is the leading distributor and service provider for pumps, generators, blowers, valves, VFDs and packaged engineered systems for industrial and municipal applications across Atlantic Canada.
We are currently seeking an engaged professional to join our Truro Branch as an Inside Technical Sales Representative, reporting to the Branch Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø Post-secondary education with a technical degree or diploma. Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technician, or Business Administration would be considered an asset.
Ø Experience in Municipal and Industrial sectors would be considered an asset.
Ø Experience with pumps, valves, motors, variable frequency drives, blowers and other industrial and municipal equipment.
Ø The ability to interpret technical documents such as CAD drawings and specifications.
Ø A highly self-motivated individual with a goal towards sales growth.
Ø Experience with Microsoft Office Products.

Ø Work in a collaborative manner with other Sansom Equipment Ltd. employees and clients to provide innovative solutions to their process requirements.
Ø Assist Territory Sales Representatives with creating proposals and quotes when required.
Ø Ensure technical content and pricing are accurate in quotes sent to customers.
Ø Act as technical support by answering client questions related to their equipment and assisting in troubleshooting issues.
Ø Maintain professional and technical knowledge by completing courses and attending training as recommended by Sansom Equipment Ltd.
