Location The Insight Analyst role will be based at Landsec’s head office in 100 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5JL with a minimum of at least 3- 4 days in the office. The role Highlighting consumer trends and insights, using simple storytelling and narrative to communicate findings to the wider Landsec Retail business and external partners Generate actionable insight to inform marketing, leasing, asset management, operational and investment decisions. Communicate these insights succinctly and effectively to Landsec stakeholders and external partners. Support the Insight Manager on key projects and remits including the Brand Awareness tracker programme, Wifi analytics, Future Trends and impact on Retail report, Strategic frameworks, focus groups & consumer online survey and questionnaire analysis. Principle Accountabilities Data Analysis Use both qualitative and quantitative research methods to generate actionable insight with a key focus on qualitative datasets and research Support the Insight Manager with running data analysis that covers shopper behaviour, retail market overview, consumer behaviour/trends/perceptions, brand impact, location and catchment opportunity, and competitor overview Demonstrate interest and understanding of property and retail sector - forecast and hypothesise on future consumer and retail trends Translating Research Into Actionable Insight Build relationships with wider Consumer, Asset Management, Brand Leasing, Development, Centre Management, PR, Strategy and Investment teams to understand their needs and business questions Synthesise large volumes of data into digestible, actionable insights for stakeholders Communicate these insights effectively with the Insight Manager through written reports, contributions to wider presentation decks and leading presentations Tailor messaging for different teams and varying levels of seniority Establish a reputation as a consumer expert within the business Essential Criteria Analytical expertise - experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data sets, including survey data. Ability to adapt to new data sources. Effective storytelling - ability to take complex data sets and translate into simple narratives that communicate insight and recommendations to various stakeholders. Data visualisation - proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, ability to display data in an easy to understand manner. Survey writing expertise – ability to construct consumer survey questionnaires Collaborative skills - capability to work effectively with diverse teams across the organisation - fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive a data intelligent culture.
