MV Digital Group is looking for an Insights Editor who will transform audience, content, and social‑conversation data into clear, client‑ready insights that guide content strategy, messaging, and revenue opportunities.  The Insights Editor will pair editorial judgment with analytics proficiency to produce polished reports, build messaging frameworks, and translate social listening into actionable recommendations for clients and internal partners.  This position is responsible for translating raw analytics from our proprietary platform into compelling narratives, actionable insights, and high-quality client deliverables.   Compensation for this position is comprised of a base salary plus incentive.  The base salary range is $75,000 - $80,000 per year.  Additional incentives bring total potential compensation to $90,000 - $96,000 per year.   What you’ll be doing: * Synthesize platform data and analytics into clear, compelling storytelling that translates complex behavioral insights into clear narratives, visuals, and recommendations for diverse audiences * Establish a content vision for the company leveraging the platform and third-party datasets * Produce content across multiple formats including webinars, presentations, memos, social media posts, white papers, and other formats as needed * Stand up and maintain social listening programs to track topics, sentiment, share of voice, influencers, and message resonance. * Configure dashboards, queries, alerts, taxonomies, and tagging schemas in Meltwater, Hootsuite, and Sprout Social or comparable tools. * Create client deliverables that help advocacy organizations, corporations, government entities and other clients understand audience behavior * Develop though leadership content including white papers, research reports, and trend analyses that showcase the platform’s unique capabilities * Recommend headlines, hooks, and content angles aligned to audience motivations and channel norms. * Present insights and messaging to clients during reviews, QBRs, and planning sessions; field questions and align on next steps. * Partner with data scientists to interpret findings and identify the most meaningful insights for external audiences * Collaborate with strategists working on client accounts to ensure insights are actionable and aligned with client objectives. * Work with the Marketing team to amplify thought leadership and support brand positioning efforts. * Create and maintain standardized templates for reports, social insight briefs, and messaging frameworks. * Document methodologies, query logic, and taxonomies to ensure repeatability and quality control. * Uphold accuracy, clarity, accessibility, and visual consistency across all client deliverables. Our ideal candidate will have the following: * Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field * 3 – 5 years of experience in political communications, public affairs, journalism, research, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience * Exceptional writing and editing skills with demonstrated ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively * Experience producing content across multiple formats including long-form reports, presentations, and digital content * Demonstrated ability to interpret and synthesize quantitative  data into  meaningful narratives * Hands-on proficiency with social listening and publishing tools including dashboard setup, query writing, tagging, sentiment analysis, and report automation * Familiarity with web/content analytics (e.g. GA4, Parse.ly/Chartbeat, SEO tools) and comfort joining data across sources * Strong project management experience with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment * Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams including data science, strategy, and marketing * Proficiency with presentation software (PowerPoint, Google Slides) and content management systems * Familiarity with audience research, polling data, or behavioral analytics is a plus
