In this busy and exciting role, you will lead the consumer and category insights agenda across a number of product areas in our business and deliver key insights with engaging and compelling narratives.
You will provide insight and collated information cross functionally to influence the direction of our customer proposition and business strategy – with collaboration, curiosity, creativity, conviction and the confidence to challenge, at the heart of all you do.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Communicating insights with intensity and engaging narratives to all relevant stakeholders - helping to influence strategy creation and future pipeline that will drive value for Bakkavor and external customers
  • Disseminating group opportunities by attending sector, category and project meetings as a consumer / category champion - presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders as you go
  • Leading insight projects to improve our consumer understanding and insight capabilities
  • Acting as the consumer expert point of contact, influencing customer thinking at a category level, both short and long term
  • Interpreting category insights and overlaying customer shopper behaviours, attitudes and trends to provide relevant and robust rationale to support business, customer and category direction
  • Creating category performance insight presentations, distilling insight from multiple sources and presenting compelling and insightful content to relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting pipeline creation and idea facilitation through clear communication of category insights to ensure the consumer needs are clearly understood
  • Influencing proposition development via the regular communication of key shopper, category, competitor, food, packaging trends and insights
  • Ensuring the voice of the consumer is represented in all decision-making moments
  • Supporting commercial on the category management process
  • Understanding the competitive position and identifying and delivering on opportunities that exist to deliver USP to the total customer proposition
  • Ensure relevant insight held about our consumers, briefing, conducting and sharing research output to demonstrate consumer sentiment about our category areas, highlighting relevant opportunity that exists
  • Managing the workflow and requirements for the customer area, scheduling work to meet all internal and external requests
  • Challenging and evaluating all requests in a smart manner to ensure each project delivers optimally for all stakeholders
