YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate II or III in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
  • Driver’s License.
  • White Card/Construction Induction Card.
  • Working at Heights.
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) <11metres.
  • Open Cablers Registration (Desirable).
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP) over 11m (Desirable).
  • Extinguishing Agent Handling License (EAHL) (Highly Desirable).
  • CPR/LVR (Desirable).
  • ASIC and/or MSIC pass (Desirable or willing to obtain)
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Survey customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Equans procedures and processes and relevant Australian Standards.
  • Identify, Inspect, and test fire protection and safety systems and equipment – including Fire Panels, EWIS, Fire alarm systems, Sprinkler Systems and Pump sets, emergency exit lighting, portables, and passive equipment.
  • Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on fire protection systems and equipment using logbooks and associated documents in an accurate manner.
  • Driving commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct Maximise efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management and service delivery.
  • Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment.
  • Report work progress and performance by completing productivity key performance indicator (KPI) reports.
  • Being on call and attending call outs as per rostered requirements.
  • Complying with Company and client Welfare, Health & Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Recommend improved business processes by actively engaging in quality programs.
  • Comply with all Customer requirements, as defined by the Customer contract.
  • Attend all scheduled training programs.
  • Ensure highest level of presentation as an Equans employee.
  • Work reasonable overtime to meet the company’s contractual requirements, including weekends and working away.
