Role Overview: Orbit International Survey Services LLC is hiring an experienced Inspection Engineer to conduct on-site asset integrity assessments of a 10MW Waste Heat Recovery plant within a cement facility in the UAE. This position focuses on mechanical condition verification and non-destructive testing oversight. Key Responsibilities: Conduct physical inspection of: AQC & SP boilers Steam turbine & generator Air Cooled Condenser (ACC) Supervise / perform Ultrasonic Thickness (UT) gauging Conduct borescope inspections of turbine blades Identify erosion, corrosion, fouling, and tube thinning Cross-check maintenance records against physical findings Document photographic evidence Provide mechanical risk inputs to TDD report Requirements Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering NDT Level II or III Certification (UT mandatory) Minimum 8+ years in heavy industrial or power plant inspection Experience in cement plants or dust-heavy environments preferred Familiarity with UAE safety and pressure vessel standards Preferred Skills: Experience in turbine inspection Knowledge of boiler tube metallurgy Strong reporting and documentation skills
