Join us as our new Inspection Lead DOF Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Inspection Lead to support and drive our subsea inspection operations. The Inspection Lead is responsible for driving DOF Australia’s subsea structural inspection capability across the APAC region, providing technical leadership, ensuring quality standards, and supporting business growth. The role combines strategic development, operational oversight, technical authority, and people leadership. Core Responsibilities Lead DOF’s subsea structural inspection function across the APAC region, ensuring high-quality delivery, continuous improvement, and alignment with industry standards. Develop and implement Strategic Inspection Objectives, standards, guidelines, and SOPs. Act as the primary technical authority, providing expertise to tendering, project teams, offshore teams, and execution phases. Drive innovation, including development of remote inspection technologies, new methodologies, and improved ways of working. Support business development, maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to securing repeat business and major contracts. Allocate inspection resources to projects and act as the key offshore technical support when required. Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, quality requirements, and HSE expectations. Stay abreast of industry developments, technology, equipment, methodologies, and competitor activity. Serve as the single point of contact for Inspection matters and facilitate collaboration with other DOF regions. People Management Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Inspection/ Senior Inspection Coordinators, ensuring capability growth and readiness for new offshore projects. Oversee personnel resourcing, development, performance standards, and mentoring for inspection staff. Ensure consistent reporting standards and quality control across inspection personnel and project teams. Promote strong communication between inspection teams, offshore personnel, and onshore managers. Embed a strong HSEQ culture, ensuring competence, training, and compliance. Provide discipline leadership, guidance, and continuous improvement support to all inspection personnel. Essential: Valid CSWIP 3.4u Subsea Inspection Controller certification. Minimum 5 years’ experience as Primary Offshore CSWIP 3.4u Inspection Coordinator. Strong background in ROV/Diver Structural Inspection, NDT methods, CP Survey, FMD, UT, ACFM. Experience delivering ROV Pipeline Surveys and inspection data processing. Tendering experience and strong understanding of project execution requirements.
