Description
Reporting to Works Manager
Conduct engineering inspections: Perform detailed dimensional, visual, and functional checks on manufactured parts and workshop assemblies to ensure conformity.
Read and meticulously interpret technical engineering drawings, material specifications, and schematics.
Manage quality documentation: Record inspection results, compile non-conformance reports, and sign off on completed items ready for site installation.
Perform secondary assembly: Carry out assembly and fitting of mechanical components to assist production schedules when required.
Operate tools and machinery: Utilize precision measurement hardware (calipers, micrometers, gauges) alongside traditional hand and power tools (grinders, drilling machines).
Maintain safety standards: Uphold all workshop safety protocols, procedures, and quality management standards to maintain a clean working environment.
