Description

Main purpose of the job To, independently, conduct inspection and certification of products according to standard protocols and procedures as prescribed through PPECB's legislative mandate. High level job objectives • To ensure service delivery to internal and external clients in line with PPECB's legislative • mandate, SLA's, MOU's and MOA's. • To ensure PPECB's values are portrayed to enhance a culture of accountability. • To ensure compliance to internal and external business management processes. • To ensure compliance to Human Resources policies and procedures. • To ensure compliance to financial policies and procedures. Requirements • A Minimum Tertiary Qualification or a National Diploma/Degree in the following Sciences: o Agricultural management/Crop production o Horticulture o Environmental Health or o Food Technology • Agricultural Export Technologist Programme (AETP) Competency requirement of minimum 50 credits (Technical) and minimum of 15 credits for (Soft skill) is mandatory. Knowledge, understanding and experience of all inspection and/ or cold chain services relevant to the specified geographical area. Excellent proven experience on implementation and maintenance of all regional processes and databases. Computer Literacy. Good verbal and written communication skills The ability to work with minimum supervision. Proven track record of taking ownership and being accountable. Excellent customer service skills A valid code 08 driving license and own reliable vehicle is a requirement for doing the job.
