Company Description A leading designer and manufacturer of low voltage electronics and power supplies. Job Description Essential Duties/ Requirements: Inspecting or testing materials, products, installations, and work for conformance to specifications by using a variety of inspection tools. Inspect equipment, products, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects. Notifying supervisors of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems. Hand Soldering. Performance of any other company related job tasks required by business needs. Qualifications Physical Requirements: Excellent level of hand/ eye coordination and dexterity, including the ability to pick, pinch, or grasp an object. Long periods of sitting. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional pushing/ pulling of plastic utility cart to transport work items. Additional Information Rate of Pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position is $16.50 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period to a rate of $17.00-$17.75 per hour.
