Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector civil to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As an Inspector civil, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of civil construction projects throughout the city. Conduct thorough on-site inspections of civil construction projects to verify compliance with contract documents, local building codes, and safety regulations Coordinate and carry out daily inspections during various stages of construction to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports, including site photos, summarizing progress and identifying potential issues Oversee contractors' quality control processes and coordinate quality assurance testing as required Monitor construction activities, schedules, site conditions, and project interfaces to ensure smooth project execution Maintain accurate records of work progress and document any changes for as-built drawings Verify quantities of materials and review contractors' invoices for accuracy Provide constructability advice and guidance during the integrated planning process Participate in communications with relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient and coordinated project development and implementation Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sites Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Proven experience in civil construction inspection or site supervision In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality control, and local building codes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail Excellent communication and report writing abilities Proficiency in using inspection tools and relevant software Physical ability to navigate and inspect construction sites in various conditions Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project locations Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required Professional certification (e.g., CET or equivalent) is preferred Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations is a plus Must be eligible to work in the United Arab Emirates Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
