Job Description AECOM is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Civil (Roads) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our infrastructure projects, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of road construction activities in accordance with project specifications and local regulations. Conduct thorough inspections of stormwater, Microtunneling , depth Manholes, shoring works and road construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, contract documents, and health and safety standards Supervise and coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines Prepare detailed daily reports on work progress, material deliveries, and inspection findings for the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle Perform site measurements and surveying checks for pipe alignments and levels as required Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve site issues promptly Monitor and maintain records of contractor resources, equipment usage, and material testing Assist in the preparation of project-related correspondence and documentation Participate in client inspections and coordinate with project stakeholders Oversee the start-up, commissioning, and handover processes of site works Conduct audits to ensure conformity with contract documents and contractor-submitted plans Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering Minimum 7 years of experience in road and infrastructure projects, with at least 3 years of experience in the UAE In-depth knowledge of construction contract documents, detailed drawings, and specifications Strong understanding of health and safety measures in construction environments Proficiency in site supervision, inspection techniques, and quality control procedures Experience with site measurements and basic surveying checks.
