Job Description Overview As an Electrical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards across various construction and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will encompass inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and installations to verify their adherence to established guidelines and specifications. This role demands a meticulous approach, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols in all electrical operations. Your role Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications. Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and blueprints to assess compliance with regulatory requirements. Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards. Identify non-compliance issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions to ensure conformity with regulations. Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, discrepancies, and corrective measures taken. Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections for future reference and regulatory purposes. Liaise with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address electrical compliance issues and provide technical guidance as needed. Participate in meetings and discussions related to electrical inspections, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues. Promote and uphold electrical safety protocols and practices in accordance with industry standards. Conduct safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure proper implementation of safety measures. About you Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector is preferred. 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role in the construction industry preferrably in buildings or villa projects. In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and drawings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in relevant software applications for documentation and reporting. Additional Requirements Willingness to travel to various project sites across the UAE. Familiarity with construction safety practices and regulations. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
