Description
Main Duties: * Have the ability to identify defects as per the defect catalogues * Patrolling between all the defined manufacturing processes to ensure that the operators are inspecting at the right standard levels. * Conduct last offs when the batch is finished from production in order to ensure that the product is of an acceptable standard. * Issue warning card at any stage of the manufacturing process when a defect is identified. * Follow the defined standards through the defect catalogues to decide whether to accept or reject the controlled batch. * Is responsible to escalate immediately to the Quality Engineer or Supervisors, if a problem occurs in relation to high scrap from a machine or if the press operator is not following the correct procedure. * Be able to carry 100% manual inspection when required * Accurately record inspection and patrolling data We are 40 000 men and women who meet the challenges faced by our automotive, aviation, defence and industry customers every day.
