Description Summary: Produce finished product by assembling parts, packing, and performing final inspection with a keen eye for detail on each system produced. Essential Job Duties: · Ensure quality and quantity of manufactured goods being placed in each box. · Examine materials from suppliers during production process. · Visually inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies during the production process. · Test, measure, and analyze products, as necessary. · Take samples for testing, as necessary. · Ensure the product is meeting the work standards in the manufacturing process. · Observe gages, indicators, scales, etc are working properly. · Visually compare color, texture, material, etc to ensure consistency of product. · Prepares work to be accomplished by studying operator instructions, blueprint specifications and bill of materials. Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, as necessary. · Positions parts and subassemblies by using fixtures or reading measurements. · Pack parts in finished unit box per operator instructions. · Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. · Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs. · Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. · Documents actions by completing production and quality forms as applicable. · Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. · Any and all other responsibilities as assigned.
