Job Description Familiarise yourself with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, health and safety measures, and all associated updates or revisions Ensure contractor compliance with contract standards, specifications, and requirements through regular site supervision and inspections Maintain daily records of contractor manpower, equipment, resources, and progress on site Conduct site inspections and measurements to verify works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and the Quality Management System Liaise daily with the contractor regarding site resource management, health and safety compliance, and work progress Prepare daily inspection and progress reports for the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE), including work orders, material deliveries, and inspection findings Monitor and record contractor QA/QC activities, including materials testing, workmanship inspections, and test results Implement site instructions issued by the RE or ARE and follow up on corrective actions Coordinate with the Client's Project Manager during site inspections and assist in audit inspections to verify conformity with contract documents and approved shop drawings Ensure all works comply with Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, and other local authority standards and regulations Monitor start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover activities, maintaining complete records for project closeout Promote and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards on site Assist the RE and ARE in preparing project correspondences, reports, and documentation in compliance with contract requirements Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma Holders with relevant education background RTA or DM Approval holder is must Additional Information Maintain complete records of materials test results, inspections, and executed works for project closeout and handover. Conduct audit inspections to verify conformity with contract documents, approved shop drawings, method statements, and contractor quality plans.
