As an NDT Inspector, you will perform approved NDT (non-destructive testing) inspection including fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, X-Ray, and visual to document the servicing and repair of gas turbine engines, aircraft components, parts or accessories in accordance with the Repair Station Manual, Airworthiness Regulations, manufacturers’ specifications, approved technical data and policies/procedures. What you'll do: Perform chemical clean and non-destructive inspection of gas turbine engines module and component parts in accordance with respect to applicable manual and approved instructions Location of defects in various materials, components and structures with a high probability of detection Ensure that all engine parts are detected for defects according to the prescribed standards and procedures Examine, interpret and evaluate test results with regard to applicable standards Record findings and test results Conduct scheduled system performance checks Interpret EM Manuals and applicable CIR for Engine Models Read updates on maintenance manuals, service bulletins, other specifications and regulatory requirements Performs general facility and equipment maintenance including 6s housekeeping Work independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality Observe all applicable safety practices Model behaviors consistent with good quality, health and safety, and environmental management practices.
