ESSENTIAL DUTIES   * Perform visual and dimensional inspections of precision machined aerospace components in accordance with Customer drawings, operation sheets, inspection method sheets and travelers.  *  Basic knowledge of hand tools, micrometers, calipers, various gages, thread gages to perform bench inspection of aerospace parts. Prior use of boroscope to inspect internal dimensions is helpful, however we will train. Prior use of CMM and other inspection equipment is not required.  *  Assemble and check all gaging required for production use. Some marking of parts.  * Assure proper signoffs of all travelers. *  Maintain neat, accurate quality records  *  Maintain a clean, organized work area. *  Perform all other duties as required.   QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent; Able to read and understand all relevant technical data such as Operation Sheets, drawings and Inspection Method Sheets. Must possess excellent knowledge of gaging systems, measurement techniques, geometric dimensioning / tolerancing and pertinent computer software. Strong interpersonal, technical and organizational skills are required.    PREFERRED SKILLS PRIOR AEROSPACE INSPECTION IS PREFERRED; USE OF BORESCOPE, CMM USE A PLUS AND OTHER MEASUREMENT TOOLS IS HELPFUL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Occasionally required to sit, stand, bend, or walk short distances. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. A vision exam is required for near and color vision.  PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Alcohol and Drug Screen, Background Check HIRING FOR SECOND SHIFT 3:30 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT. TRAIN ON 1ST FOR SHORT PERIOD OF TIME, THEN MOVE TO SECOND. 10% DIFFERENTIAL
