Job Details Job Location: Atlanta - Atlanta, GA 30308 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Job Shift: Day Job Category: Nonprofit - Social Services Inspire GA Training Specialist The Inspire Georgia provides temporary shelter care and case management services to unaccompanied children in the U.S. Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) custody. The Training Specialist is responsible for conducting training, selecting or developing training materials; maintain records on training program attendance, training offered, and evaluation measures for both Inspiritus and our subcontractor. Position Details: Full Time Department - Inspire Georgia Reports to Inspire GA Assistant Program Director Located in Atlanta, GA Hybrid Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Annual Compensation - $58,000 Responsibilities: Support training and development function. Provide training to Inspire Georgia program, as applicable. Plan, coordinate and book classrooms or other appropriate venues ensuring they are properly set for training. Maintain up-to-date and accurate training records such as trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, etc. Oversee the ORR Learning Center (OLC) access and troubleshooting. Overseeing the preparation and dissemination of materials and instructional guides. Serves as point of contact for Inspiritus and subcontractor staff ensuring they follow established guidelines and policies. Track and document employee training participation and progress in extendedReach (eR) and ORR Learning Center (OLC). Assist in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with training. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field. At least 2-4 years of proven work experience in a private or public company. Previous work experience as a Training Coordinator or a similar administrative or coordination role in child welfare. Proven track record of strong problem-solving skills, project management skills. Must be able to work effectively under pressure and multitask. Excellent computer skills, accurate typing, and proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong attention to details and analytical skills.
