REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in service sales or sales role
  • Business development experience
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Sales experience in service sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Customer first mentality and approach
  • Ambitious ‘hunter’ mindset
  • Strong relationship building skills both for internal and external stake holders
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop and win new business from existing installed assets currently not under a Vertiv maintenance contract.
  • Complete sales activity to exceed sales results.
  • Deliver on sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate CRM of your customer proposals, contacts and activity.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual forecast.
  • Develop account/territory plans and action plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Exploit all opportunities for market development within Vertiv’s Service portfolio by collaborating and developing Vertiv’s service value proposition with Services Sales BDM’s and the broader Sales teams.
  • Identify Service Sales opportunities, develop customer proposals, proactively drive these opportunities to win.
  • Organise customer demonstrations and Data centre assessments as required, to develop and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Provide written agreements and proposals to customers.
  • Timely follow up on proposals and inquiries.
  • Hunt for Service Contract opportunities to increase contract revenues while maintaining margin objectives.
