Description

SUMMARY

This is a field based, customer facing role which requires a professional, friendly and pro-active approach. Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards at all times. A pro-active approach is required to ensure installations are completed defect free where possible and customers’ expectations are exceeded. Good attention to detail is required to ensure all equipment is assembled and installed in accordance with company guidelines and all health and safety considerations are taken into account.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Ensuring your product knowledge is maintained to required level
  • Maintain a professional approach at all times to ensure the reputation of JHTUK is maintained and that our customers expectations are exceeded.
  • Complete installation of commercial, retail and 3rd party products with zero snagging due to the installation process.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement in installations activity to improve efficiency and control cost for JHTUK
  • You must ensure working practices meet appropriate H&S requirements at all times.
  • Have a flexible approach to working patterns in carrying out overtime as required.
  • On occasions you will be expected to work within different areas of the facility such as assembly, Quality, OOB rectification, Refurb or warehouse as required.
  • The role holder is required to travel extensively within the UK and spend time away from home as required.
  • You will be required to carry out ad-hoc duties as appropriate.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Experience of installation and assembly of fitness equipment would be advantageous. The person should possess a proactive and problem solving outlook, as well as an attitude for excellence. The person should lead by example and have a flexible approach to the workload in order to ensure all departmental and company requirements are carried out. The ability to confidently liaise with customers and contractors is required.
