Description

We are seeking qualified & experienced Solar PV Electricians (18th Edition and Inspection & Testing certified) to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing and maintaining Solar PV & Battery storage electrical systems as well as electric car chargers in residential and commercial settings.

SKILLS

  • 18th Edition certified [Mandatory]
  • Inspection and Testing certified [Mandatory]
  • Ideally some solar, battery and EV charging experience
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools [Mandatory]
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components [Mandatory]
  • Ability to pitch-in as required [Mandatory]
  • Electrical & Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
    If you haven’t got experience of all the above mandatory skills, training will be given, but we do expect the capability to install single and three phase distribution boards, meter tails, etc. Monitoring systems will also need to be setup, so some basic IT type knowledge is useful.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair Solar PV, Battery and EV charger electrical systems in accordance with local regulations
  • Domestic, Non-domestic and Commercial.
  • Follow & install solar PV Designs
  • Use power tools and hand tools to install new fuseboards and circuits and cable runs
  • Test & issue Electrical Installation Certificates for the installed circuits
  • Install cable tray, containment & sometimes help dig trenches to lay electrical cables
  • Demonstrate mechanical knowledge for installation, troubleshooting and repairs
