Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive signaling systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, skilled, and collaborative teammates. You’ll lead and ensure the successful execution of the APM system signaling installation—both trackside and non-trackside—supporting and guiding the installation workers and other entities involved, in line with the Project Installation Manager orientation and project schedule. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as engineering, safety, and project management), ensure the strict application of EHS policies, permit to work system, local regulations, and professional standards, and much more.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Ensuring the application of EHS policies throughout the installation process,
  • Adherence to the permit to work system and compliance with local regulations,
  • Manage and support the installation team under responsibility,
  • Ensure efficient and effective execution of the installation activities
  • Prepare site progress and issue log reports,
  • Ensure site materials are monitored, ordered and available for site teams,
  • Lead and monitor cable testing and post installation check outs (PICOs)
  • Identify and rectify any installation defects or issues promptly,
  • Provide leadship and guidance to supervisors and technicians,
  • Upholding professional installation standards and best practices,
  • Coordinating effectively with team members and cross-functional departments,
  • Monitoring project timelines and adjusting workflows as necessary,
  • Providing clear and consistent communication to all stakeholders,
  • Conducting regular safety and quality inspections,
  • Offering technical guidance and on-site leadership to supervisors and installation workers,
  • solving onsite problems and conflict resolution within the installation teams
  • Perform safety briefings and toolbox talks as required
  • Prepare installation documentation required by the site teams
  • Ensure site works are delivered in a timely manner

  • Experience or understanding of signaling, communication and Low Voltage power systems within railway or similar transportation projects,
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field,
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) policies and regulations,
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications,
  • Resilience to adapt and overcome challenges under pressure
  • A certification in project management or a strong ability to communicate effectively with teams,
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Prior work experience within a brownfield railway project
  • 5-10 years minimum of electrical / Signaling / Comms installation management experienc
