Responsibilities

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING AS A JENSEN FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION ENGINEER?

This role is not solely as an installation engineer, you will work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting and maintaining these systems to ensure they operate efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in safeguarding properties and enhancing overall security measures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and undertake installation work as directed and liaise with other employees of the company as necessary in order to complete specified works.
  • Ensure levels of productivity and work within the required timescales/categories or to targets and receive, plan and complete job orders on time and to quality.
  • Ensure that all relevant documentation is processed and systems are completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct work in accordance with required specifications, current legislation, British standards, codes of practice, safe systems of work, and recognised industrial standards of such work.
  • Undertake fault-finding and diagnostic work as required to repair and maintain installations.
  • Carry out inspection and testing on new and existing installations and complete appropriate test certification.
  • Embrace new technology and methods of working as these develop.
  • Undertake essential reinstatement work as necessary in order to ensure premises are left in a secure, safe, and weather-tight condition.
