Job Summary The Installation Inventory Specialist plays a key role in ensuring our installation teams have the correct hardware, fasteners, and mounting systems needed for each project. The primary focus is selecting, sourcing, organizing, and distributing hardware/fasteners. A secondary responsibility is partnering with the installation scheduler to oversee the safe loading of oversized signs onto trailers and flatbeds, ensuring UL compliance for illuminated signage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Select, source, and maintain an organized inventory of hardware, fasteners, anchors, and mounting systems Monitor stock levels, reorder as needed, and submit purchase requests to prevent delays Distribute hardware to installers in alignment with scheduled projects Recommend appropriate fasteners and mounting solutions based on sign type, weight, substrate, and site conditions Partner with installation scheduler to oversee the safe loading and securing of oversized signs on flatbeds, trailers, and hot shots, ensuring proper balance, strapping, and compliance with safety/weight regulations Provide electrical inspection support for illuminated signage, including UL labeling, documentation, and compliance verification Collaborate with project managers, designers, and installers to ensure hardware decisions align with overall project requirements Assist with other duties within the inventory and installation scope, as directed by management, to support overall project success Qualifications Qualifications The requirements listed below are qualifications necessary to perform the job. Education and Experience: Required: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of experience in signage installation, construction hardware, or related fields. Preferred: Forklift certification and/or experience operating material-handling equipment. Knowledge of UL electrical standards and basic illuminated signage wiring. Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: Basic electrical wiring knowledge Strong knowledge of fasteners, anchors, adhesives, and structural mounting solutions. Familiarity with substrates: aluminum, ACM, steel, concrete, drywall, masonry, and wood. Understanding of OSHA safety standards. Experience with loading/unloading freight trucks and trailers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
