We are seeking a skilled and reliable Installation & Maintenance Operative to join our team in Galway.
Responsibilities:
Carry out groundworks and installations of septic tank systems and grease traps
Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on drainage systems
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to complete daily site tasks
Assist with general operative duties as required across projects
Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard while maintaining strong customer service
Keep accurate records of work completed, hours logged, and site activities
Remain proactive in learning and developing new skills within the business
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Site Technician / General Operative in wastewater treatment systems (essential)
Site experience including confined spaces, excavations, and drainage works
Strong knowledge and practice of health & safety
Full driving licence (truck licence an advantage)
Skilled in operating machine plant equipment
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (essential)
Confined space certification (advantageous but not mandatory)
Basic electrical knowledge (beneficial)
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Must be based in Galway or willing to relocate
Immediate start available
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €31,394.94-€54,921.12 per year
