JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation Manager to oversee the installation processes within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Glazing, Construction and installation. This role requires excellent leadership abilities, as you will be responsible for managing a team of installers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the construction or installation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and especially the glazing industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise installation teams on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and schedule installation activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
  • Review project plans and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Provide hands-on support in various installation tasks including masonry, plastering, painting, plumbing, roofing, and electrical work as needed.
  • Train and mentor team members in the use of power tools and equipment, promoting best practices in installation techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients to address any concerns or modifications during the installation process.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
