POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Installation Lead to spearhead the installation of advanced poultry farming systems. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be the technical expert on-site, responsible for guiding your crew through the precise installation of Layer and Broiler equipment. Your expertise will ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards, directly contributing to our customers’ success.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have proven experience in the technical assembly and installation of agricultural equipment. (5+ years required)
  • Strongly Preferred: Direct hands-on experience installing equipment in the poultry industry (Layer or Broiler systems).This is considered a significant asset, but we encourage skilled installers with experience to apply.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, leading on-site teams.
  • Exceptional technical aptitude and problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Biosecurity Requirement: To protect our clients’ livestock, applicants cannot reside in a home with backyard poultry flocks, exotic birds, or active poultry barns.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical installation and commissioning of poultry production systems (Layer and Broiler) on customer farms.
  • Serve as the primary technical expert for the installation crew, providing guidance and hands-on support for complex mechanical and technical troubleshooting.
  • Supervise, mentor, and motivate a crew of 4-8 technicians, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers on-site, delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Take ownership of project quality, on-time completion, and full compliance with all health and safety protocols.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide after-hours emergency support for customers.
  • Travel to project sites across the region; overnight travel is required.
