We are seeking a reliable Installation Technician – Wastewater Systems to join our team in Galway.
Responsibilities:
Carry out the installation, servicing, and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems, grease traps, and pumping equipment both on-site and in the depot.
Assist with the commissioning of systems, ensuring proper setup and documenting all findings.
Work independently or as part of a team to complete daily tasks efficiently and professionally.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and representation during site visits.
Participate in general operative duties related to system installation, groundworks, and mechanical handling.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, hours worked, and job completions.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of wastewater treatment systems and company operations.
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in a site-based technician or general operative role in the wastewater treatment industry is essential.
Familiarity with confined spaces, excavation work, and safety procedures is important for this role.
Full, clean driving license required.
Must hold a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate.
A Confined Space Training certificate is advantageous but not essential.
Basic electrical knowledge is a strong advantage.
Able to work independently and take initiative while also contributing as part of a team.
Must be reliable, well-organised, and safety-conscious.
