JOB TITLE: Installations Client Manager (6 months contract)
DEPARTMENT: Installations Department
LOCATION: 3 Old Barn Lane, Kenley, Surrey, CR8 5AT
REPORTING TO: Head of Domestic Services
HOURS: Mondays to Fridays 7.00am – 4.00pm.
BSW Heating Limited is a domestic and commercial heating servicing, maintenance, and installation company. We provide a professional, high-quality service across the Southeast. Our teams manage domestic and commercial installation projects, as well as repair and maintenance contracts for a range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, education providers and hospitals.

Responsibilities

OVERALL PURPOSE

To act as liaison between BSW and our client to manage the day-to-day activities, ensuring that planned and reactive installations including chargeable small works repairs are completed in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To manage all aspects of installation work.
  • To process DRCs for installations and chargeable small works for various clients.
  • To contact residents to make appointments and ensure records are kept and confirmed.
  • To ensure planned installation programme targets are met.
  • To be proactive in booking appointments for installations by way of phone calls and letters
  • Keeping necessary records and advising clients (and updating tracker) when resident is unavailable after multiple attempts.
  • To maintain and send the planned programme tracker monthly (or as required) to the Client.
  • To liaise with the Client as and when necessary.
  • To check Client asbestos portals where required.
  • To set up all jobs (including Surveyor detail), order materials, scaffolding, asbestos (specialists where required) and do all that is necessary to ensure the job goes smoothly.
  • To deal with any queries or complaints from end to end.
  • To deal with issues that may prevent the BSW invoicing for an installation as advised by the Head of Installations.
  • To run the incomplete report daily and deal with all the following job types:
    o Installation Planned or Reactive
    o Installation Start
    o Installation Small Works
    o DRC Tracking
    o Chargeable Small Works
    o Rectification

o Commissioning

  • To answer the telephone and deal with any queries from field Operatives.
  • To organise operative’s daily workload.
  • To cover colleagues, work when requested.
  • Training new members of staff as required
  • To ensure all emails are dealt with in a timely fashion.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Installations
