Description

INSTALLATION MANAGER – JOIN A COMPANY WHERE CRAFTSMANSHIP MEETS LEADERSHIP

At ERW Joinery, we don’t just pride ourselves on the quality of our handcrafted timber windows and doors — Our full client offering requires us to take just as much pride in how they’re installed. Precision, professionalism, and pride go into every detail, from workshop to wall.
We’re looking for a skilled and driven Installation Manager to lead our high-performing installation teams. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role where your decisions directly shape our reputation and your impact is visible every day.
Whether you’re an experienced Installation Manager or a seasoned installer ready for a bigger challenge, what matters most is your understanding of the installation process, your ability to lead and motivate teams, and your commitment to excellence in every project.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the operational backbone of our installation service — supporting, managing, and empowering our fitters while ensuring projects are delivered to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Director to refine and improve departmental goals and service delivery.
  • Oversee teams of experienced installers, ensuring they’re equipped, supported, and motivated to deliver outstanding results.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor new installers, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and high standards.
  • Assign jobs and manage installer schedules for efficient, timely project completion.
  • Create and manage Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Health & Safety documentation for all installations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to manage inventory and material logistics.
  • Maintain quality assurance, ensuring every installation meets company and regulatory standards.
  • Develop planning schedules and accurate performance forecasts to keep the team and projects on track.
  • Monitor departmental performance, hit KPIs, and sustain project margins.
  • Own customer communication and resolve queries with confidence and professionalism.
  • Lead with integrity and encourage a culture of trust, consistency, and continuous improvement.
  • Champion customer satisfaction and ensure we consistently exceed expectations.
