Position: HVAC Commercial Installer Location: Twin Falls, ID Shift: Monday – Friday - 7:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: $18.00 - $34.00 depending on experience Position Type: Full-time Position Summary: The HVAC Commercial Installer is responsible for installing new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including packaged rooftop units, split systems, evaporative coolers, exhaust fans, water heaters, ductless systems, and controls. This position requires technical knowledge, precision, and strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality installations. Key Responsibilities: Install commercial HVAC equipment including rooftop units, split systems, evaporative coolers, exhaust fans, and water heaters. Install ducting and sheet metal components such as rooftop curbs, curb adaptors, plenums, distribution boxes, cans, grills, registers, and flue piping. Verify adequate electrical HVAC systems including disconnects, circuit breakers, and fuses are sufficient and properly sized. Run thermostat and other electrical wiring as required. Install and troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems up to 20 tons, including refrigerant, gas, and electric furnaces, and heat pumps. Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients and team members. Always adhere to company and safety standards. Perform other related duties as assigned Work under the direct supervision of management or lead technician to ensure all jobs are completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of HVAC experience required. Valid EPA certification. Valid driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely. Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting. Ability to measure ductwork and install all equipment accessories. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions. Ability to complete low-voltage and high-voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners. Strong customer service skills and attention to detail. Physically capable of standing for long periods, walking, and climbing ladders. Basic math skills and ability to meet project deadlines. Ability to follow written and verbal directions accurately.
