Do you enjoy moving around all day? Are you a team player? Are you ready to get to work now? The DaMar Team is actively seeking out installers for a local construction company. Client Profile- A subcontractor to residential construction industry. Job Summary- The installer handles putting in fireplaces, shelving, shower doors, and other home products in new and pre-existing homes and other residential applications. Must have a proven track record of performance with hands-on work and attention to detail. Duties Responsible for installing all kinds of gas or wood burning fireplaces, stoves and inserts. Installing marble hearths and mantels and wood mantels. Service and troubleshoot and unit so that it operates at optimum level and according to manufactures specifications. Willing to learn to use and clean tools and equipment that are specific to the division. Plumb in gas lines according to code and manufactures specifications. Load truck with tools and materials needed for the day’s work. Keep truck’s cab and box clean. Also, keep job site clean. Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have a valid Driver's License. Note: Must be able to be insured by company. High School Diplomor or GED Ability to lift 50 pounds No experience installing fireplaces required however must have experience working with hand and power tools, be mechanically inclined and above average customer service. Experience in construction, HVAC or similiar industry a plus Comfortable being on a ladder and a roof. Hours: Monday thru Friday 7a to 4:30pm (30 to 60 min lunch break); overtime offered if interested Starting pay: $17.00 to $20.00 hourly based on experience, competitive insurance and benefits and incentives

Responsibilities

Install gas and wood-burning fireplaces, stoves, inserts, and other home products in residential settings. Responsible for plumbing gas lines, troubleshooting units, and maintaining a clean job site and vehicle.
