Description Photon Brothers is a leading provider of solar photovoltaic (PV) solutions committed to reducing our customers' carbon footprint and energy costs. We specialize in designing, installing, and maintaining energy storage and solar PV systems for residential and commercial clients. We are looking for a Seasonal Installer II to join our team! This is a temporary, seasonal role that will begin immediately upon hire and continue through January 16, 2026. While the role is expected to conclude at that time, there may be future opportunities depending on business needs. Responsibilities Independently perform layout, assembly, and installation of most solar array and mounting hardware DC Electrical Work (wire solar panels between other panels, DC stringing, installation of the sola-deck rooftop junction boxes, installation of DC conduit, wiring between rooftop home runs and the inverter, etc.) Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment Preparation and clean up of job site Provide technical direction to Solar Installer I’s Communicate with customers in a professional, considerate manner Additional duties as required Requirements Construction experience and comfort working on roofs of varied height and slope 1–3 years’ experience with roofing or residential solar installations Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required 1 year experience with semi-technical roofing materials, such as tile, asphalt, standing metal seam, and various roof penetrations Must have a clean driving record in accordance with PB insurance parameters (driving for a minimum of 9 years, plus 3 years of a clean record) Must be motivated and a team player Positive mental attitude with the willingness to learn and evolve Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team of installers Must be able to lift panels and heavy weight (up to 60 pounds), climb ladders up to 30 times per day, and work in various weather conditions
Responsibilities
Independently perform layout, assembly, and installation of solar arrays and mounting hardware. Provide technical direction to Solar Installer I’s and communicate with customers in a professional manner.
