Established local company looking for an Installer to fill immediate full-time opening for the Springfield, IL area. This position installs cultured marble products, shower enclosures, mirrors and shelving to new construction and remodel customers in and around the Springfield, IL area. This position involves measuring, cutting, fitting, and securing cultured marble, enclosure systems and shelving units to meet design specifications and client expectations. The Installer ensures that all materials are handled with care and installed safely, adhering to industry standards and local building codes. Ultimately, the Installer contributes to the overall success of construction and renovation projects by providing expert craftsmanship and attention to detail that enhances the functionality and appearance of interior spaces. Ideal candidates should have the following characteristics: * Attention to detail conduct accurate field measures * Excellent customer service skills * High level of Safety awareness * Ability to work in a team environment around other trades * Strong motivation to complete schedules in a timely manner without constant Supervision * Ability to lift / carry up to 75 lbs. as needed * Professional attitude and appearance * Ability to complete daily work orders (written and oral) * Clear driving record for the past 5 years (company truck provided) * Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean and in good working condition * Remodel/construction experience of 2-3 years (finish carpentry skills) * Proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to cutting and installing cultured marble, and shelving materials * Problem-solving abilities are frequently employed to adapt installations to site-specific challenges and design modifications Job Responsibilities: Check and load enclosures, mirrors and/or shelving onto our truck, transport material to customer's home, unload, assemble, and install. Cultured marble will be delivered to worksite. Some service work also. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, follow all safety protocols and handling materials responsibly. Inspect completed installations to ensure quality standards, making adjustments or repairs as necessary. You bring your hand tools and we will provide the rest. Monday - Friday 6:30 am to end of job; occasional Saturdays during busy times.
