Our work will take you in different directions. We’re looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our high performing Modernisation team in Melbourne. You will be exposed to a fantastic environment where you will be part of a team managing the modernisations of elevators. This is a full-time opportunity, offering an autonomous environment, with a variety, stability, with support from the wider business. What will you be doing? Attending to minor and major upgrades/repairs Working across Elevators and Escalators projects Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region What are we looking for? Qualified Certificate 111 in Mechanical Engineering desired Trade tickets desired- Dogging, Advanced Rigging Experience working on elevators or escalators Experiencing working across modernisation preferred but not required Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality A customer service mindset Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team There’s so much more to KONE than you may realise.
