Description

INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

This is posted as an Install Technician – but what we really want to hire is a “Swiss Army Knife” or a “Jack/Jill of All Trades” who can, of course, do residential installs but also help out in the office with customer service.
Are you looking for an opportunity to use your passion and talent to enhance your career in a growing professional firm in Winnipeg?
Do you want to work for a long standing (and busy!) Winnipeg company that has NEVER laid off employees in nearly 40 years of operations?
Do you want to work regular hours and have autonomy, but also variety in your work?
If yes, then please consider this outstanding position as the next step!

FUNCTION:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, reliable, technically inclined individual to join our team immediately. Job specific training is provided, but an understanding of basic house construction and strong customer service skills is preferred. The candidate will perform efficient installation of central vacuums, provide excellent customer service, and assist with occasional office duties when needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal applicant would have customer service and some trades experience. The Installer is responsible for timely completion of the work with a high level of workmanship and superior customer satisfaction.
Installers will be working on client sites and as such should possess good communication skills, professionalism in customer service, and maintain a clean and presentable appearance and workspace.

We are looking for someone with this background:

  • Minimum HS Diploma
  • 2+ years’ work experience industry
  • Has own tools
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Ability to drive within Winnipeg is required
  • Ability to be bonded
