YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • University degree or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in correspondent banking, ideally at major European or US financial institution
  • Sound product knowledge of cash management and trade products and services for financial institutions (USD, EUR and Multicurrency clearing and payment services, liquidity management, transactional F/X, trade finance for financial institutions)
  • Solid presentation and communication skills, written and oral - ability to communicate bank’s strategy, as well as the ICT global business strategy incl. specifically risk appetite and respective policies
  • Ability to build and develop contacts at the appropriate level in target clients to support business traction. Strong negotiation skills would be essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required. German language skills preferred

DETAILS OF THE ROLE AND HOW IT FITS INTO THE TEAM

Institutional Cash and Trade (ICT) is a global business which is regionally organized with dedicated staff for originating and facilitating cash management and trade finance business from FI clients. Our Sales Specialist for ICT Nordics & Baltics (“ICT Sales Specialist”) will cover bank clients across the Nordics & Baltics region.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • De liver on the agreed ICT Sales objectives for the client portfolio and to uphold best in class client management and service levels to the existing client base
  • Drive client interaction through client calling, client meeting, industry forums etc.to strengthen DB’s market position and catch new business opportunity in a controlled manner
  • Obtain full background knowledge on the clients and assume responsibility for client onboarding and KYC life cycle management, supported by KYC officers
  • Leading process for response to RFPs/RFIs and assume responsibility for content and presentation quality and client communication, in cooperation with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Meet Risk KPIs for Trade Finance client portfolio
  • Fulfill responsibilities under the DB Group and US Supervision policies and the Written Supervisory Procedures
  • Ensure timely completion of Mandatory Trainings and compliance with all risk-related obligations (non-financial risk, financial risk, timely completion of Periodic Review to reflect up-to-date and accurate information)
