ActionAid Hellas is seeking an experienced and strategic Institutional Fundraising Manager to lead the preparation and submission of high-quality funding proposals, primarily for European and other institutional donors. The role plays a key part in expanding the organisation’s institutional funding portfolio and contributing to the design of impactful programmes aligned with ActionAid Hellas’ strategic priorities. Key Responsibilities Identify, analyse and track institutional funding opportunities (EU and national), in line with ActionAid Hellas’ institutional fundraising strategy. Lead the preparation and submission of high-quality funding proposals and budgets for institutional donors. Ensure early identification of calls for proposals and development of strong partnerships to support successful submissions. Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with European and national partners, donors and key stakeholders. Contribute to programme design, including context and needs analysis, intervention logic and activity planning, for institutional and non-institutional proposals. Collaborate closely with internal teams (Education Programmes, Community Centres and others) to collect inputs for proposal development. Provide guidance and support to internal teams involved in the implementation of live EU-funded projects. Support institutional fundraising efforts through internal projects (organisational presentations, programme profiles, stakeholder databases). Participate in meetings, committees, events and conferences, representing the organisation as an ActionAid Ambassador. Ensure all activities align with ActionAid’s accountability principles and contribute to departmental strategic planning. Collaborate effectively across departments and international teams to support organisational priorities, milestone implementation and shared learning. University degree in social/political studies, economics, or related field. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in EU-funded projects and other donors (design, management). Demonstrated experience in proposals’ preparation, writing and implementation as well as budgeting (EU-funded programs and other donors) Excellent analytical, organisational, communication, negotiation and time-management skills. Fluency in Greek and English (oral & written). Commitment to ActionAid’s values, human rights, and social justice. Availability to travel within Greece and abroad.
