About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Representative In this role, you will: Perform a variety of operational tasks for routine and medium complex institutional trades that require general knowledge of unit functions and systems Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve process specific goals Review time sensitive document Support audit requirements within the process Address compliance and corporate governance issues for the department Interact with internal and external customers as per prescribed process or procedure Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve process goals Execute tasks and perform activities as per direction from leaders and understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements Required Qualifications: 1+ year of Institutional Investment Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Support the lifecycle of Institutional trades while managing a FX product ( FX Spots, FX Options, FX Forwards ,FX swaps). Handled end‑to‑end FX Nostro investigation queries, including analyzing and resolving transaction mismatches, missing entries, and settlement breaks across various correspondent banks. Reviewed and interpreted SWIFT MT and MX (ISO 20022) messages—including MT103, MT202, MT202COV, MT300, PACS.008, PACS.009, and CAMT.053/054—to validate payment instructions, settlement references. Identify & investigate the nostro account discrepancies, working closely with global correspondent banks, internal reconciliation teams, and FX Operations to ensure timely FX cases resolution. Performed detailed tracing of incoming/outgoing FX payments, identifying missing cover, incorrect reference linkage, settlement delays, or incorrect routing, and ensuring corrective action through proper SWIFT communication. Managed escalations related to aged nostro breaks, ensuring timely follow‑ups, root‑cause identification, and coordination with internal stakeholders such as Trading, Sales, Service Providers, and Network Management. Monitored and actioned investigation queues, including Pega cases and email inquiries, prioritizing high‑value, time‑critical, or regulatory‑sensitive items to maintain SLA and reduce operational risk. Demonstrate good understanding of financial products & middle office controls. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development Collaborate with all business partners and various departments, create efficiencies, and mitigate risk for team and organization Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity Ability to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlines Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas, foster teamwork Willing to work in US Shift.
