About the role: At NEXT we have a great opportunity for an In-Store Display Assistant to join our Field Display Team on a temporary contract for 12 months . This role is based in and responsible for our stores in Merryhill & Solihull Our team is renowned for creating market leading windows and in-store displays in the retail industry. As an In-Store Display Assistant, you will contribute to the overall success of our retail environment by creating visually appealing displays that attract customers and drive sales. Working closely with the Display Manager, you will assist in the design, setup, and maintenance of in-store displays to ensure they effectively showcase our products and reinforce our brand image. Main Tasks: Outfit building, dressing & styling of all mannequins and VM features within our stores. Drive sales by reacting to seasonal trends & changes, and updating where stock has sold out. Collaborate with the store team and regional VM team on VM fixture positioning and stock layouts. Occasionally support the regional display team with seasonal window changes. Assist in placement of signage and graphics to enhance the visual impact of displays and communicate promotional messages. Regularly inspect and maintain displays to ensure they are clean, organised, and in good condition. Adhere to store policies and procedures, including safety guidelines, while performing display-related tasks. Complete security training tasks as required. Communicate regularly with store management teams to collaborate workload About you: You’ll be fashion trend-focused, with a creative background. A strong attention to detail and creative flair. Understanding the NEXT customer profile. Previous experience in retail, visual merchandising, or a related field preferred. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and overnight stays when required.
