As an Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in empowering MSPs by creating engaging, insightful, and practical e-learning experiences that unlock the full potential of our products. By simplifying complex ideas and designing education that drives meaningful results, you’ll help MSPs deliver unparalleled value to their clients. Responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with product teams, SMEs, and stakeholders to identify learning needs, define objectives, and ensure educational content aligns with ScalePad’s business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop e-learning courses, micro-learning modules, and assessments that reflect ScalePad’s education strategy and provide measurable value to customers.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, and prototypes that simplify complex concepts into engaging and visually dynamic content.
  • Utilize e-learning tools to produce high-impact course materials, integrating interactive and multimedia elements such as videos, animations, activities, and quizzes.
  • Implement proven adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks to maximize learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Evaluate feedback and learning metrics to measure the effectiveness of e-learning experiences and drive continuous improvement.
  • Refresh and refine course content to align with product updates, new features, and evolving industry standards.
  • Explore and incorporate emerging trends in instructional design, e-learning technology, and MSP industry advancements to enhance learning solutions.

Qualifications.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or customer education, with preference for a background in technology or SaaS environments.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, earn trust, and work effectively with diverse teams across departments.
  • Proven project management and organizational abilities, with a track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with an ability to convey complex concepts simply and effectively according to voice and tone guidelines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of instructional design frameworks (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning theories.
  • Expertise in visual design and video editing, including screen capture and image editing, using tools such as Camtasia, Snagit, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM.
  • Skilled in analyzing learning data and metrics to measure course effectiveness and inform future design decisions.
  • Knowledgeable about creating inclusive learning content that aligns with accessibility standards to ensure a broad and equitable learning experience.
