Propio is rapidly growing and is looking to hire a highly motivated Instructional Designer to join our corporate team. The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing innovative and effective instructional materials and learning experiences. This role involves conducting needs assessments, designing and developing curriculum and instructional content, and measuring the effectiveness of such content. This position would collaborate with business leads and subject matter experts to leverage learning needs with various instructional design models and technology. Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop high-quality instructional materials. Conduct needs assessments with an emphasis on ensuring support of business outcomes with measurement. Apply instructional design theories, practices and methods to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Develop course content, including participant resources and assessments that incorporate multimedia elements and interactive components for learner engagement. Participate in the evaluation and selection of instructional resources such as content creation platforms Review for continuous improvement of content, instructional materials and methods Assist in managing curriculum in a Learning Management System Assist with facilitation as needed. Requirements Education/Experience Portfolio of past work or personal projects required Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, curriculum & instruction, or a related field Minimum of two (2) years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams Strong project management skills and relationship management skills to manage instructional design projects Emotional Intelligence and learner-centric empathy Growth mindset towards continual improvement Proficiency in Articulate 360 - Rise and Storyline Ability to work with Multimedia design and development platforms (e.g. video & eLearning creation, editing systems and graphic design) Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, Forms, Access, PowerPoint Ability to understand and manage courses in a Learning Management System Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud (preferred) Video editing/development (preferred)
