Description

We are looking for an experienced Instructional Designer to join our client! In this 8-month contract role, you will play a crucial part in developing and delivering effective training materials to support end-users during an organizational transition. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a comprehensive learning program.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Learning Lead to plan and execute training activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
  • Review and quality-assure learning materials to maintain high standards of consistency and accuracy.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to create and update engaging learning materials, including interactive activities and assessments.
  • Utilize tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, and PowerPoint to design and deliver training content.
  • Develop and implement training delivery plans to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage and maintain content on the organization’s SharePoint Learning Centre, ensuring information is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Write clear and effective instructional text, knowledge assessments, and multimedia scripts.
  • Provide project management support and act as a representative for the Training Lead when required.
  • A degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing technology-based instructional materials and content.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and other e-learning software.
  • Strong command of Office 365 applications, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency across learning materials.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience in video editing and creating multimedia training materials.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
