The Job
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Development team. This role is crucial in designing and maintaining high-quality learning resources across the employee lifecycle - from induction to technical training. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and effective learning solutions that align with business objectives.
The Instructional Designer is responsible for identifying, recommending, and developing engaging, efficient, and effective learning solutions that meet the requirements of our global audience.
What You’ll Do

Learning Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and update learning resources including eLearning modules; storyboards; facilitator guides and job aids
  • Maintain and enhance induction/onboarding content for consistency and impact.
  • Identify learning needs and define course outlines, delivery methods, and assessments.

Stakeholder & Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and partners to extract and translate technical knowledge into instructional materials.
  • Collaborate with members of the L&D team (e.g., multimedia developers, technical writers, graphic designers).
  • Support the broader L&D team with tasks as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with L&D teams to align efforts and share resources; LMS administrators to manage content visibility and user access; and Internal stakeholders to align learning solutions with business needs.
  • Facilitate regular feedback and review cycles with SMEs and stakeholders.

Project & Team Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end learning projects, including needs analysis, design, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Operations, HR, Marketing) to support business initiatives.
  • Participate in and contribute to performance improvement efforts.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure all learning materials are Up-to-date; Aligned with branding; Reflective of current systems, policies, and processes
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and use insights to refine content and delivery.
  • Stay current with trends and technologies in instructional design.
  • Continuously review and improve work practices, systems, and processes.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Proven experience in instructional design or learning experience design.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience working with SMEs and translating complex content into accessible learning.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
  • Experience designing induction or onboarding programs.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Google Suite or products, Slack, Workday and Salesforce
  • Ability to work in fast-paced and evolving environments.

Proficiency in using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, etc.) and LMS platforms.

  • Experience in technical or systems training development is a plus.
