We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to design, develop, and maintain learning solutions focused on mortgage lending and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong hands-on expertise with Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline, advanced PowerPoint skills, working knowledge of Camtasia, and a solid understanding of mortgage compliance requirements. The ideal candidate can translate complex regulatory and policy-driven content into clear, engaging, and performance-based learning for adult learners. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline Create and enhance instructor-led and self-paced training materials using PowerPoint, ensuring clear instructional flow and visual consistency Record, edit, and produce mortgage-related training videos, system demos, and walkthroughs using Camtasia Apply adult learning principles to ensure training is practical, relevant, and job-focused Design and maintain learning content aligned to mortgage compliance and regulatory requirements Partner with compliance, risk, and subject matter experts to translate regulatory content into learner-friendly training Convert policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation into effective digital learning assets Develop knowledge checks, assessments, and scenario-based practice aligned to compliance expectations Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, clarity, and audit readiness Update and maintain courses in response to regulatory changes and business needs Requirements Education & Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Proven experience as an Instructional Designer in a mortgage, lending, or financial services environment 1+ year experience using Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline Advanced PowerPoint skills, including layout and instructional sequencing Working knowledge of Camtasia for screen recording and video editing Working knowledge of mortgage compliance and regulatory training Solid understanding of adult learning principles Ability to structure complex regulatory content clearly Strong attention to detail and communication skills Familiarity with LMS platforms and compliance tracking (preferred) Experience supporting audit or regulatory review readiness (preferred) Technical Requirements: Articulate Rise - strong proficiency Articulate Storyline - strong proficiency Camtasia - strong proficiency PowerPoint - advanced proficiency Strong working knowledge of AI-assisted instructional design tools What Success Looks Like: Mortgage compliance training is accurate, clear, and job-relevant Courses are consistent, well-structured, and audit-ready Stakeholders trust you to translate regulations into effective learning What We Offer: PTO that increases with length of employment Company culture that fosters work/life balance Health, Dental, and Vision insurance plans FSA and HSA plan options available Company-paid life insurance 401k with partial match Employee recognition on a national scale with incentives Big bank capability, small-bank feel The Federal Savings Bank is an equal opportunity employer.
