INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER

We are looking for a skilled Instructional Designer who can create engaging learning materials for internal and external learners. This is a highly collaborative role in which you will consult with a variety of stakeholders to identify educational needs, make design recommendations, and then develop training solutions that achieve the expected outcomes.
The Instructional Designer will play a critical role within the Operations & Enablement team by developing the overall content strategy for supporting the initial onboarding and ongoing technical development of Operations & Compliance team members and Tipalti customers. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who can develop a comprehensive content vision and then execute to achieve that vision.
The Instructional Designer reports to the Director of Enablement and Training. This role is a hybrid position and requires you to be in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

Responsibilities
  • Lead content development projects through all phases of planning, design, creation, delivery, and assessment with a focus on maximizing impact and achieving stated outcomes.
  • Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify the educational needs of various job roles (internal and external) and develop a content strategy to meet those needs.
  • Manage and track all employee and customer-facing enablement content and revise training materials in accordance with product release cycles.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the Tipalti products and use cases to design and develop enablement solutions that drive the implementation and full adoption of the Tipalti platform.
  • Design, develop, and publish multimedia content, including e-learning courses, participant and facilitator guides, slide presentations, and video demonstrations.
  • Incorporate interactivity, gamification, and testing into enablement content to engage learners and facilitate retention.
  • Develop criteria for assessing learner retention and methods for measuring the impact and outcomes of enablement solutions.
  • Continuously improve training content based on evaluations, engagement, and feedback from learners and other stakeholders.
