THE OPPORTUNITY:
West Liberty University is seeking applications for an experienced and innovative Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer will partner with faculty, subject matter experts, and other campus stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver both online and technology-enhanced courses and programs. In support of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Online Education (CTLOE), this position creates, delivers, and assesses professional development programming for faculty and staff. Additionally, the designer participates in accreditation, reporting and compliance activities and provides technical assistance with various edtech tools used at the university including the Learning Management System, Canvas.
The Instructional Designer position is a permanent, full-time, position that is benefits eligible. While an on-campus presence is preferred to foster collaboration and community engagement, we understand the benefits of remote work. For highly qualified candidates, a hybrid or fully remote work arrangement with occasional travel to campus expected for key meetings and professional development is negotiable.
