Organizational Development Resource Group (ODRG), LLC is a management consulting company that provides professional services to organizations within DoD, Federal, Commercial, and non - profit sectors. ODRG professional consultants provide management consulting and administrative support services. We assist our customers with strategic direction, implementation, and evaluation efforts that optimize their workforce and ultimately enhance the effectiveness of the organization. Our consultants have designed and delivered value added solutions for government and private organizations that have resulted in organizational effectiveness; process efficiency, strengthen workforce, and cost savings. Overview: OD Resource Group, LLC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to oversee activities pertaining to diverse training and educational initiatives within an organization. This role involves assessing individual or group training requirements, implementing strategies, plans, and programs to address these needs, and creating a range of training resources. The position also requires staying current with emerging training methodologies, evaluating the feasibility of engaging external vendors to support organizational training objectives, and conducting analyses of program efficacy to provide management with reports and recommendations. Additionally, the role encompasses budget preparation and travel coordination, as well as responsibilities related to staff recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and the administration of promotions, transfers, or disciplinary measures. Key Responsibilities/Duties: Proven experience working with subject matter experts and clients Proven experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses Proven experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment Experience designing and developing SCORM - conformant content Experience and working knowledge working in multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate) Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors Compensation: The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience instructional systems design, educational technology or similar relevant field Minimum of 6 years’ experience of creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content Must have advanced knowledge in computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT) tools (i.e., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.) Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) Security Clearance Requirements: This position requires you to have an active Secret Clearance. A government background investigation will be conducted on selected applicants to determine whether they qualify for access to classified information.
