Job Details Job Location: Givens Elementary - St. Louis, MO 63119 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.33 Primary Objective: Under the direction of the building principal, assist certified staff in supporting students in their social-emotional needs; monitor and report student progress. Essential Functions: Assist teachers with instruction and engagement of individual and small groups of students in the classroom Assist counselors in their support of students Assist with building supervision including but not limited to hallway, lunch, and recess Work with district staff to assess, determine the function of, and improve student behavior Engages in ongoing assessment and quality improvement strategies to assist in the implementation of ongoing behavioral and social-emotional integration strategies Work with teachers to assess, determine the function of, and improve student behavior Perform other duties as assigned by the school principal Education: Degree, coursework, and/or certification in counseling, social work, behavioral studies, or school-based behavioral therapy preferred.
